Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS)

Cloud Native, API Driven Communications for the Connected Enterprise

6D’s Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS) is a cloud-native, API-driven solution engineered to integrate real-time communication functionality directly into enterprise applications, services, and workflows. Unlike general-purpose platforms, 6D CPaaS is designed to support a Digital Service Provider’s (DSP) or large enterprise’s own CPaaS business strategy or internal digital transformation, providing a platform for monetization and high-volume, mission-critical communications.

The modern enterprise needs a communications layer that moves beyond fragmented legacy infrastructure, PSTN, PBX, and custom IVR systems. 6D CPaaS unifies voice, messaging, and video onto a single, programmable platform, giving enterprises the choice to deploy on premises, in a private cloud, or as a fully managed multi-tenant SaaS solution, without [1] compromising on data control or Quality of Service. The same platform lets an operator run multiple telco and enterprise services from one single instance, with each service, such as messaging, voice, video, SMS-Voice Hub, CTI and legacy communications, organized into its own category for onboarding, management, and billing. For the enterprise itself, every one of these services, including contact center and customer engagement, is available through a single enterprise portal and billed under one account.

Features

Cloud Native, API First Architecture

Built on microservices and orchestrated by Kubernetes, 6D CPaaS is engineered for rapid deployment and horizontal scaling to handle peak traffic demands, from transaction-heavy messaging to massive voice and video concurrency. The entire platform operates as a headless communications layer, exposed through standardized RESTful APIs and WebSockets.

Unified API Gateway

A single set of RESTful APIs and SDKs manages Voice, SMS, Video, and authentication services through a centralized API Gateway, simplifying the developer experience while enforcing unified security policies such as OAuth 2.0 and API key authentication, rate limiting, and request validation.

Multi-Channel Orchestration

Advanced logic enables cross-channel communication, including programmable call flows, message routing with channel failover (for example, defaulting from WhatsApp to SMS), and built-in compliance checks, ensuring communication uptime across every channel.

Programmable Voice

Full lifecycle control over inbound and outbound PSTN, SIP, and WebRTC calls lets enterprises replace legacy PBX and IVR systems with programmable, data-driven voice applications, including dynamic call routing, multi-party conferencing, call forking and bridging, DTMF capture, and call recording.

Unified Messaging

A single interface manages high-throughput, multi-channel communication across SMS, OTT channels such as WhatsApp and RCS, and Email, supporting carrier-grade delivery of 1,000+ messages per second per tenant, with delivery receipt assurance down to the device level.

Integrated Billing and Monetization Support

Built-in features support multi-tenant architecture and internal or external monetization models, including usage-based rating and charging by service type or Quality of Service (QoS), so the platform can be commercialized as its own CPaaS offering.

Benefits

Reduced Communication TCO

Reduced Communication TCO

Consolidating disparate communication modalities onto a single, unified, cloud-optimized platform minimizes operational silos, reduces maintenance overhead, and shifts costs from CapEx to a scalable OpEx model.

Accelerated Time to Market

Accelerated Time to Market

Standardized, documented, and secure APIs accelerate the development cycle, enabling B2B and B2C products to integrate advanced voice, video, and messaging features in days rather than months.

Enhanced Process Efficiency

Enhanced Process Efficiency

Programmatic control automates complex business processes such as fraud prevention via two-factor authentication (2FA), intelligent customer routing, and multi-channel failover.

Data Control and Regulatory Compliance

Data Control and Regulatory Compliance

Deployment flexibility keeps data and infrastructure within controlled environments, helping regulated industries meet strict data sovereignty, GDPR, HIPAA, and other regulatory frameworks.

Flexible Deployment Models

Flexible Deployment Models

Choose an on-Premises/Private Cloud model for full data sovereignty and infrastructure control, or a Multitenancy Cloud/SaaS model for reduced TCO and maximum agility—both support hybrid cloud enablement.

Enterprise Grade Security and Multi Tenancy

Enterprise Grade Security and Multi Tenancy

Native multi-tenancy with logical tenant isolation and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) ensures every business unit or partner operates within a securely segregated environment, with API keys tightly scoped to specific tenants and services.
